Anyone can form a limited company in 15 minutes for £12 on the Companies House website. The tricky bit is getting it set up correctly — the right SIC codes, the right share structure, a registered office, HMRC registrations, a business bank account, and an accounting system that works from day one.

We do all of that as part of sign-up, and it's free when you become a monthly client. Most of our new limited companies are fully trading within a week of the first conversation.

How long does it take to form a limited company?

Companies House typically processes online applications within 24 hours. By the time we've added HMRC registrations and a bank account, most new clients are fully trading within 3-5 working days.

Can I use your address as my registered office?

Yes. Many of our clients prefer to use our Ashby address as their registered office so their home address isn't on the public Companies House register. There's no extra charge for this.

Do I need a shareholders' agreement?

If you're a one-person company, no. If you have co-founders or outside investors, absolutely yes — and we'll recommend a solicitor to draft it properly. Skipping this is one of the most common early-stage mistakes we see.
